1. Information we collect

Fountain Peptides (“Fountain”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates fountainpeptides.co. We collect the personal information you give us directly when you create an account, confirm your age, place an order, sign up for updates or contact our team.

This usually includes your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses and the details of the products you order. We do not ask for more than we need to supply research materials and support your account.

2. Age and research confirmation

Our products are sold only to qualified researchers aged 21 and over, for in-vitro laboratory research. To apply this, we may record:

  • Your confirmation that you are 21 or older
  • Your acceptance of our research use terms, with the date and time it was given
  • Your institution or laboratory affiliation, where you choose to provide it

We keep this record as evidence that the confirmation took place. We may refuse or cancel an order where the information given is incomplete, inconsistent or suggests the purchase is not for research.

3. Orders and payment information

Card payments are entered on our payment provider’s encrypted checkout and are not stored on our servers. We use your order details for billing, fraud prevention, tax, shipping and customer support.

If there is a problem with an order, or we need to confirm details about a lot you received, we will use the contact details on the order to reach you.

4. Certificates of Analysis and lot lookups

Anyone can open a Certificate of Analysis by scanning the QR code on a vial or entering a lot number in our COA library. These lookups do not require an account and are not linked to your identity. We may keep anonymous records of which lots are viewed to keep the library working properly.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep your cart, account session and age confirmation working. With your consent where required, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the store may not work without them.

6. Emails and updates

We send transactional emails such as order confirmations, tracking links and replies to your messages. If you opt in, we may also send:

  • New product and restock announcements
  • Updates to our documentation and COA library
  • Store news and offers
  • Important changes to this policy

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop essential order or account emails.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you trust us with.
